​How Can You Help?

  • Adopt a pet from our shelter. Adopt two so each will have a friend.

  • Volunteer at the cat shelter to help feed, clean and love the cats. There are morning and evening shifts available.

  • Foster a dog or a litter of kittens. Share your heart and home with an orphaned animal.

  • Sponsor a cat by 'adopting' a cat at the shelter for $25 per month.  You will receive a picture of your adopted pet and be listed as a sponsor parent in our newsletter.  You can visit any time.

  • Donate to VIVA. Your donations help pay for the daily expenses of food, medical care and adoptions.  A donation may be used to honor someone, celebrate someone's birthday or remember a pet or family member.

  • Remember VIVA in your will or estate plan.  You may name VIVA as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or annuity. You may donate stock, real estate or other instruments as well as cash.  Please check with your financial advisor or attorney for more information.
